Wednesday, June 16. What's On My Mind?

Decided to pre-order the new iPhone 4 yesterday morning.  Figured if I picked it up the day it comes out I'd get myself in trouble with it at work, and would not get any work done.  Went the safe route.

I'm excited that one of my co-workers watches Next Food Network Star.  I love having someone to talk about stuff like that with.  Holly and I watch it, and we tend to agree on most of the stuff.  Nice to have an independent voice.

Maggs is back!!

New Ben Folds CD comes out September 28.  That's some good news on the music front.

Speaking of music, I started following @ofarevolution (O.A.R.) on Twitter.  Sweet!

Damn it's a small world, and sometimes I hate that.  Never know when something you say is going to get to someone it shouldn't.

Spirit Airlines pilots are on strike, and Spirit has cancelled all flights until at least Thursday.  Is Spirit Airlines the kind of company that can survive something like this?  Seems to me that, if I'm Spirit, or the pilots, I'm gonna want to get back to work before I don't have a work to come back to.

Is Guns N Roses a first ballot inductee to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame? I guess it'll depend who else comes on the ballot that year, but I might be inclined to vote yes.

Did you see the season finale of The Office? Michael asked the new owner to bring back Holly to the Scranton office and she said she'd see what she could do. OK, I would totally veto bringing Holly back if it were to mean the demise of Toby. I like Toby. He cracks me up.

Has there ever been a worse Tiger than Ryan Raburn? I mean seriously. This dude must have pictures of Jim Leyland in compromising situations, or something. He's freaking awful. He can't hit, can't field, can't bunt and can't pitch. Why is he on the team?

I'm starting to reach the "I don't care any more" state on this Tom Izzo to the Cavs stuff. Maybe that's his plan? Keep putting it off longer and longer hoping that more fans will stop caring...

I'm getting a new phone. The iPhone 4 is coming out on June 24. Pre-orders start Tuesday, June 15. I cannot decide what to do. Do I go in on the 15th and pre-order it, and have it Fed-Ex'd directly to my house on the 24th, or do I go wait in line at the store on the 24th... Ugh!!! I hate not knowing what to do. I think the only issue I have with pre-order and having it sent to my house is potential shipping issues with Fed-Ex.
